Structures Lab Rooms SW1 - 1068, 69 and 70 Comprising a floor area of 162 square meters, the structures lab offers students the opportunity to test steel, timber and concrete structural elements, reinforcing the theoretical mechanical properties discussed in the classroom.
Construction Materials Lab Room SW3 - 1650 Two labs, used for concrete, asphalt, and geotechnical testing, comprising a total of 410 square metres of floor area.
Environmental+Hydraulics Lab Rooms SW3 - 1640, 55 and 95 A 100 square meter facility, shared with the Environmental Engineering Technology department.
Geotechnical Labs Rooms SW3 - 1650+1690 The Geotechnical Lab is a 49 square meter facility used for conducting 'clean' soils testing. Specimens are prepared in the Materials Lab and tested in the Geotechnical Lab, allowing this lab to remain dust and dirt free.
